You will work for a start-up which organises business networking events for business owners and entrepreneurs.

The job we offer
As a Marketing & Event Assistant, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our office near Leman Street. You will have work in the following areas:
Marketing:
○ Social media strategy and monitoring
○ Creating and uploading social media contents
○ Creating materials promoting events (sponsorship document, media pack…)
○ Organising meetings with the team, taking notes and writing reports

Public Relations:
○ Creating question for interviews
○ Updating the CEO’s LinkedIn account
○ Follow-up with people met at events
○ Being the link between customers/partners/participants of the MBA/mentors and the CEO

Operations:
○ Doing researches for the CEO
○ Calculating costs
○ Signing the CEO up to events and adding it to his diary
○ Cover in absence of other office admin

Sales:
○ Contacting people on different platforms to promote events and the company itself
○ Representing the CEO in front of investors
○ Answering the phone to provide info and to promote events and the company
○ Going to event to promote the company
○ Pitching to people in order to promote the company/events

Human resources:
○ Creating job ads
○ Giving induction to new employees/interns
○ Transferring the applications and CVs to the CEO
○ Creating and uploading tutorials on a platform for the future employees

Administrative:
○ Printing documents
○ Organising meetings with the team, taking notes and writing reports
○ Sending emails and documents for the CEO

The ideal profile
Education/experience
Between 2 and 5 years’ experience in similar fields as the following:
● Marketing
● Sales
● Communication

Skills
You are a great applicant if you have the following skills:
● Technical skills
○ Computer literate
○ Microsoft Office Suite
○ Gmail and Google Apps for work
● It is a plus if you know:
○ Word Press
○ Any graphic design software
● Soft skills:
○ Team leader
○ Excellent communication, written as well as verbal
○ Very good presentation
○ Organisation
