Our company operates in the finance training. Our courses are presented to clients all over the world.

This is an entry-level position that requires an extremely high degree of personal organisation. It also requires intelligence, diligence, accuracy, the ability to think for yourself and to show initiative. A genuine interest in the financial services industry would be advantageous.

The successful candidate must have an excellent command of the English language, a high degree of self-motivation and to be both flexible and very hard working.

The successful candidate will be working in our very busy London office with eight other members of staff. The successful candidate will work for a company that encourages ideas and where everyone feels part of a successful team. The successful candidate will be actively encouraged to make the role their own by being enterprising, hardworking and client centred.

The candidate will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing but will also be working very closely with our Client Services & Administration Manager. Full and on-going support will be provided but the candidate will be expected to display desire and enthusiasm and use their own initiative.

- Assist in processing course bookings and raising invoices
- Sending course and conference joining instructions
- send pre-course reading / work to participants
- Processing cancellations / transfers
- Dealing with suppliers by telephone and email
- Assisting on the day of a course – and meeting our trainers and our clients face to face
- Answering incoming calls (dealing with queries, transferring and advising)
- Going to the bank to pay in cheques
- Assisting with preparing and organising in-house courses and other projects
- Preparing course materials and binders for participants
- Assisting with credit control and monitoring payment of invoices.
- Managing client databases
- Researching websites, articles and publications and adding appropriate contacts to our databases
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on our databases
- The on-going visiting of client websites to obtain new contacts to add to our databases
- Telephoning companies / contacts to verify contact data on our databases
- Maintaining the accuracy of the company’s website
- Assisting with the marketing of Redcliffe training courses and conferences
- Initiating e-shots to contacts on databases
- verifying all bounces from e-shots and updating contact details on our databases
- processing bookings for courses and conferences from e-shots and from websites
- Updating marketing materials
- Plus any other duties to assist the department.

Required skills and personal attributes
• Excellent use of all Microsoft Office applications (MS Publisher or other design programmes such as Photoshop and InDesign will be useful)
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent listening skills
• Must be extremely well organised
• The ability to manage own workload, prioritise and work/keep to deadlines
• Must have a good eye for detail
• Must have a “can do” attitude
• Must be accurate and diligent
• Must be a quick learner
• Must be enterprising
• Must be hard working and proactive
• Must be focussed on the client
• Must be able to work accurately under pressure

The hours of work will be 08.45am – 17.30pm with an hour for lunch, Monday to Friday.
The Candidate will be based in our London office.

Remuneration: around £270/week
