You will work for a company in marketing, helping other companies to expend their business.

Type of contract:
Internship - 4 months minimum contract
Compensation:
Weekly Allowance of £125

- Sourcing of decision makers and budget holders for our portfolio of clients (External Business Development) and for our company (Internal Business Development).
The market research covers more than 20 countries in the world across different sectors (FMCG, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Financial Services, IT, Packaging Agencies, Brand Design Agencies...)
Results for the company:
A bespoke Target List will allow the sales team to create a relevant pipeline for each account.
Results for the intern:
At the end of the internship, the intern will be able to understand all the business development processes across different sectors.
The intern will also learn how to professionally use multiples tools such as Linkedin Sales Navigator, Google API and Excel.

- Maintenance of our CRM system.
Results for the company:
The sales team needs to work with an updated CRM system in order to use the lists compiled by the research team.
Results for the intern:
The intern will learn how to use the CRM system Salesforce in order to insert data after each market research with the help of our internal template.
The intern will also learn how to keep our data up-to-date without jeopardizing the work of our sales department with the platform Dataloader.

- Create a company profile for the Internal Business Development Directors and Managing Director before every new business meeting.
This company Profile will include a full description of our prospects but also a relevant list of new appointments to leverage the capabilities of the research team.
Results for the company:
This document will allow the Managing Director to understand very well our potential prospects and will help us improve our customer acquisition.
Results for the intern:
The intern will learn how a business is preparing a new business meeting in order to perform in the best conditions.

- Management of the office stock, expenses and credit card summary. Results for the company:
The update of the stock will allow everybody at our company to get an access to all the supplies needed for our business. By updating the expenses and credit card summary, the intern will also support our Managing Director and Accountant.
Results for the intern:
The intern will learn how a business is keeping a record of the expenses and credit card summary

- Tracking the results of the sales team and delivering a monthly report to the Account Directors and Managing Director.
Results for the company:
This task will help the management team to follow the activity of our sales department.
Results for the intern:
The intern will learn how important it is to monitor sales activity on a daily basis, this allows the Account Directors to help the sales team with training and development.

- Monitoring and sourcing of relevant insights and leads from marketing journals on a weekly basis across different sectors (FMCG, Retail, Pharma, Financial Services, IT...).
The intern will work closely with the Research Manager in order to deliver a weekly report to the sales department.
Results for the company:
This report will help the sales department with lead generation and will allow the Account Managers to convert opportunities into meetings.
Results for the student:
The intern will learn how to extract relevant insights from multiples sources with a business perspective and how to use the platform Netvibes.

- Monitoring and update our social media on a daily basis with relevant news in the marketing sector.
Results for the company:
We have to represent multinational companies across the globe through cold calls but also with Twitter, Linkedin and Facebook.
Everyday, the intern will have to provide relevant feeds to our 15k followers with the help of an Account Director.
Results for the student:
The intern will learn how a New Business Development Agency is using social media to engage with prospects and current clients. The intern will also learn how to use the platform Crowdfire.
