• Marketing Intern
• Based in Ultimo – 7 minutes’ walk to Broadway and 15 minutes’ walk to Central

• Flexible working arrangements – ideally 2 days per week for 12 weeks / A 4 to 6 months internship is possible with 250 AU$/month (2 working days per week). 500 AU$ for 4 days per week.

You will work for a 100% Australian-owned and operated hotel chain.
Our group caters for both the business and leisure traveller.

The Role

A great opportunity for a Marketing Intern is on offer to work as a volunteer along our Hotel sales team in Sydney, 2 days a week for to 12 weeks.

Reporting to the Group Director of Sales and Marketing, this position is a broad marketing role with some sales support, with focus on:
• Researching and writing content for our websites
• Image sourcing using online image libraries
• Updating our website using Wordpress
• Creating video content using Animoto
• Researching and compiling social media posts
• Using Hootsuite to post social media content as approved
• Researching local events, attractions and things to do and developing content to coincide
• Online research of competitor/industry campaigns, packages and promotions
• Actively contribute ideas for our email marketing calendar
• Review our online presence across all distribution channels, including a usability and content review of the our website
• Opportunity to visit some hotels with sales and marketing management team.

About You
To Be Successful For This Role You Will Need
• Intermediate ability in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ideally a working knowledge of Wordpress, or other content management system
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Ability to think independently and not afraid to bring ideas to the table
• Enthusiasm and eager to learn
• Reliable

This is an unpaid internship, however, at the end of the agreed internship period, we will provide a subsidy for travel costs incurred during the placement (to and from the head office in Ultimo).
